Terms and Conditions

Adventure Hikers Pvt. Ltd. is a government-authorized travel company in Nepal, established with the aim of providing a genuine service and secure and satisfying trip while preserving the nature and culture of Nepal. Our team is experienced, and well-trained and has been in the tourism sector for many years. 

The terms and conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between Adventure Hikers and the client providing services based on a legal relationship with Adventure Hikers Team. It is important that you read them carefully and understand them clearly. 

1. Information about Booking a Trip in Nepal

  • Advance Payment for booking

 For booking any trip in Nepal, you should deposit 10% of the total trip amount before arriving in Nepal. After receiving the advance payment, you will get the statement of your payment and booking confirmation via email. The clients should pay the remaining amount after arrival in Nepal and before the trek starts. 

  • Documents for trip booking

To proceed the booking process, clients need to send us a copy of their passport and passport size photographs. Bring the rest of the documents with you when you come to Nepal. 

2. Trip Cancellation Policy

To cancel your trip in Nepal, you have to email us a valid written notice at least 25 days before the trip starts. On your trip cancellation, we will transfer your payment to your specific bank account but all the bank charges at the time of any transfer will be deducted from your total amount. Please note that the local Nepalese currency amount that we receive will be calculated as the total amount paid by the clients. If in any case your currency rate increases, Adventure Hikers will not be responsible for sending more than the amount we received from the bank transfer converted into local Nepalese currency.

3. Trip Postponed

If you need to postpone your trip due to any undesired circumstances, Adventure Hikers won’t impose any extra charges and the advance payment will not be refunded as well. We can easily change the trip date and plan as per your time availability. But last-minute postponements or any changes in trip plan may charge extra. As we already booked the hotels, domestic airlines, bus tickets, obtained special permits, etc. after the  booking confirmation.

4. Refund Policies

When you book a trip with Adventure Hikers and couldn't make the trip due to any reason, we will refund all the amount without any cancellation charges but if you cancel the trip at the last moment some charges will be deducted from your total amount. For last-minute cancellation of hotels and domestic airlines tickets in any part of Nepal, the cancellation fee will be deducted from your amount. Also the bank transfer service charge will be deducted from your total amount. So, we request the clients to inform us about the trip cancellation a couple of days before to avoid the extra charges.

5. Incomplete Trip

After starting the trek, if in case you cannot complete the trek for any reason, then we are not liable to refund any amount but can manage to arrange another trip for you.

6. Risk and Liabilities

Adventure Hikers bear all responsibility for your trip in Nepal from the day you arrive in Nepal to till your departure day. We will not compromise your enjoyment and safety, it is in our prior concern. We are dedicated to providing our clients with the best services to make their trip a once-in-a-lifetime remarkable journey. We conduct all the trips under the policy, rules and regulations of the Government.

Adventure Hikers Pvt. Ltd. is not responsible for any uncertain circumstances like trip incompletion, flight cancellation, government restrictions, road blockage, political strike, bad weather condition, natural calamities, trip delay, health problems or accidents. If any kind of carelessness and weakness from our side affects the trip, Adventure Hikers take the responsibility to refund your amount ( depending on the days spent).

7. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance for all our clients is mandatory for undertaking any trips with us. Travel insurance should provide adequate facilities to cover helicopter rescue, medical expenses, personal injury, air ambulance, repatriation expenses, theft or loss of personal belongings, trip cancellation, etc. If you are trekking or expedition above 5000 meters, make sure your travel insurance covers all the emergency evacuations. Adventure Hikers will help you to arrange all the legal documents for insurance if needed.

8. Unlawful Act

While in Nepal, if you commit any illegal act that is deemed illegal by the Nepal Government and you are ordered to leave the country, then Adventure Hikers terminate your participation in the trip right away and is not liable for any refund.

9. Last-minute Booking

If the clients cannot book the trips in advance due to any reason but want to confirm booking in a short period of time, Adventure Hikers offers a special booking provision. Your last-minute booking is accepted only for trips in Nepal with full trip payment a few days before the trip starts. For further information, you can freely contact us.

10. Clients Privacy

Adventure Hikers is committed to safeguarding the client's personal information confidential. We will take your privacy seriously and not disclose any private information for any purpose without your approval.
