Body Wear: Yoga clothing, yoga mat, Down jacket, warm and light thermal sets, hiking pants and shirts, fleece jacket, waterproof and windproof outer layer/jacket, woolen/fleece hat, hiking waterproof boots, warm socks, light socks, neck warmer/muffler, warm gloves, breathable underwears, sports bra for ladies, sanitary napkins, etc.

Gears: Yoga mat, trekking poles, durable and comfortable backpack, water bottle, hand torch, sleeping bag (optional), crampons (in winter), GPS/compass, trek map, and trekkers knife (optional).

Best Time for Mardi Himal Yoga Trek

Here is the breakdown of the season to help you to choose the appropriate time for your yoga trip in Nepal. 

Spring Season (March to May)

Spring season is considered the best time for trekking in Nepal. This season is blessed with various colors of wildflowers, breathtaking mountain vistas, pleasant atmosphere, presenting the perfect backdrop for yoga practice. The weather conditions are very clear and the temperature is mildly warm, making the trek wonderful and comfortable.

Autumn Season (September to December)

Autumn is the peak trekking season in Nepal. The Autumn is complemented by a clear sky, nature is soaked in the autumn vibrant colors and the Himalayan ranges look incredibly mesmerizing. Practicing yoga against such magnificent backdrops gratifies your mind, soul, and body and offers an outstanding experience. The weather is very favorable with moderate temperatures, making it the best time for trekking and yoga practice.

Summer Season (June to August)

The summer is off-season which welcomes the monsoon with heavy rainfall which makes trekking difficult. However, nature is in its most stunning phase, with cascading waterfalls, greenery, beautiful hills, spectacular mountain views, and vibrant forests. Both yoga and trekking are not favorable during this time.

Winter Season (December to February)

Winter is another offseason for trekking. During this heavy snowfall occurs and the temperature is extremely cold in the mountains with a foggy and cloudy atmosphere. The trekking trails are covered with snow making it difficult to hike. However, it is an ideal time for trekking if you are looking for incredible mountain views and frozen natural vegetation.

Welcome to Nepal! Our representative will be in the airport to welcome you and take you to the hotel. You can rest for some time and in the evening we will meet for further trip discussion where you will meet your guide.

Today, we will explore the beautiful Kathmandu valley. We will visit various historical and ancient places in Kathmandu and learn about the history and culture of Nepal. After that we will do the rest of the preparation for the trek.

After breakfast, we will take a tourist bus to Pokhara. We will traverse following the stunning Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers and through some beautiful scenery.

Early in the morning, we will drive to Dhampus which takes around 1 and half hours. From Dhampus, we will begin our actual trek. The hike takes us through beautiful Brahmin, Gurung, and Magar villages, terraced fields, and quaint forests. We will walk through beautiful rhododendron forests and reach Pitam Deurali.

At Deurali, you will see the snow-capped mountains like Annapurna and Fishtail. It is one of the best places for yoga, so early in the morning we will practice yoga in front of the Fishtai and Mt. Annapurna.

This day, after having our delicious breakfast, we will start our hike to Rest Camp. We will walk through beautiful and peaceful forests. The trail covers a fairly ascending way through a beautiful rhododendron, oak, and birch forest. After reaching Rest Camp, you will see the stunning view of Mt. Fishtail and we will spend the night there.

Today's hike will take us to High Camp via Badal Danda. The trails are steep, but the breathtaking views of Mt. Fishtail, Annapurna, Mardi Himal, and an amazing valley make the hike rewarding. We will walk into the lush forest for a few hours and then come to an open meadow.

As we climb up, the ridge becomes narrow and you will see the deep valleys on both sides. On your left, you will see the Modi Khola and on your right, you will see the Mardi Khola and Seti River. You can see the Pokhara Valley from high camp.

Early in the morning around 4 am, we will pack our breakfast and start our hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp. We will climb along the narrow ridge and reach Mardi Himal Base Camp. From the Base Camp, you will see the stunning golden sun rays crowning the Annapurna South and Mt. Fishtail standing close to you.

We will take a small yoga session at the Base Camp of Mardi Himal. After spending some time immersing ourselves in the breathtaking beauty, we will come back to High Camp, collect our stuff and trek back to Badal Danda. The night will be spent at Badal Danda.

 After having our last delicious breakfast at Badad Danda, we will trek to Kalimatimati through lush forests. From Kalimati, we will take a jeep to reach Pokhara.

Today, we will take time to explore the beautiful city of Pokhara. We will visit several beautiful places, go boating at Fewa Lake, and enjoy the full day of exploring. You can also do Paragliding and many adventurous activities at Pokhara.

We will have breakfast and drive back to Kathmandu following the same route. After reaching Kathmandu, you will have rest. And in the evening, we will meet for a special farewell dinner with a Nepali cultural show organized by Adventure Hikers.
