Are you tired of seeing so many Manaslu Circuit Trek packages online? Yes, there are too many information and trekking packages floating in an internet. Some of these trekking packages and itineraries are exasperated and contains false information. As a responsible trekking company, it is so heart rending that so many wrong practices are happening in the field of Nepalese trekking. The Manaslu region is slowly getting lots of attention from people across the globe. In fact, the popularity of the trek is on the rise.

People are crazily working to capitalize on this phenomenon. Unlike several trekking companies, the Adventure Hikers is determined to provide authentic trekking experiences. Check our Manaslu Base Camp Trek package that includes almost every corner of the Manaslu Circuit Trek route in Nepal.

Our travel planners have worked diligently to create an authentic Manaslu Base Camp Trek itinerary. Please note that the trek is completely different from the Everest Base Camp trek and the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Trekkers don’t need to retrace the same trail after reaching the destination. In fact, they continue the trek and reach the trail end in the Annapurna Circuit Trek route. Therefore, our Manaslu Base Camp Trek package is special.

Trek to Manaslu Base Camp

Few may argue that the Manaslu Base Camp Trek is another name of the Manaslu Circuit Trek. It is true in certain aspects but not entirely complete. In fact, the journey focuses more on reaching the foothill of the world’s 8th tallest mountain. The main reason behind creating the specific base camp package in the Manaslu region is to ensure high success rate. Please note that the journey can be completed even during winter season in Nepal. Normally, winter and monsoon seasons are not ideal for trekking in Nepal. Interestingly, it is possible to do the trek throughout a year but we don’t recommend monsoon season (June – August) due to safety reasons.

New Rule for Restricted Region Trekking in Nepal

There’s good news for travelers from across the globe! Now, you can do solo trekking in any restricted areas of Nepal. Even if you can do solo trekking, you must hire a trekking guide from registered trekking company. It is to make sure that those who are willing to travel Nepal’s restricted areas can visit without any kinds of restrictions. With this rule in effect, the travel planners of the Adventure Hikers have knitted the unique itinerary of the Manaslu Base Camp Trek in Nepal.

From cost factor to the overall trekking experiences, you can do the trek in different note once you book the MBC Trek package with us! Feel the difference and make your travel investment worth every penny spent.

How Manaslu Circuit Trek is different from Manaslu Base Camp Trek?

Practically, the itinerary of the Manaslu Circuit Trek and the Manaslu Base Camp Trek may seem similar but it’s completely different. We have tried our best to make sure that you feel different between these treks. During the Base Camp Trek in Manaslu, there is no compulsion for you to cross the Larke La Pass (5106 m). However, circuit trek must be completed with the crossing of the Larke La Pass. Interestingly, if you choose to do the base camp trek only excluding the Larke La Pass Crossing, then you can skip buying the Annapurna Conservation Area Project permit.

Acclimatization during Manaslu Trek in Nepal

The journey of the Manaslu Circuit Trek in Nepal is in the higher elevation places. Therefore, acclimatization activities are crucial to ensure high success rate. Interestingly, our travel itinerary of the Manaslu Base Camp Trek revolves around the basic acclimatization hike during the Manaslu Circuit Trek in Nepal. Trekkers trek to the Manaslu Base Camp (4800 m) via Birendra Lake as part of the acclimatization activity. It ensures safe adjustment to the demands of higher elevation places where oxygen layer is thin.

Birendra Lake and Manaslu Base Camp

The trek’s main attraction is the Manaslu Base Camp (4800 m). Additionally, the travel planners of the Adventure Hikers have kept the crossing of the Larke La Pass (5106 m) as an optional trip. Flexibility in itinerary is the sole reason why the agency is promoting the Manaslu Base Camp Trek package. On the way to the Manaslu Base Camp (4800 m), you can visit gorgeous Birendra Lake (3691 m). Blue turquoise lake surrounded by towering snow – capped mountains in your travel path can never be dull! In fact, the journey presents the blissful experience worthy to be among the top moments of your life.

Only handful of trekking agencies share with you honestly about difficulty level of the Manaslu Base Camp Hike from Samagaon. Please note that the trail to the base camp of the world’s 8th tallest mountain, Mt. Manaslu is not easy. In fact, the trail is almost 50 degrees to 60 degrees uphill. Additionally, it is rugged and full of pebbles to smaller rocks! Don’t expect well maintained trail but the overall experience couldn’t be matched. Moreover, the journey can be compared with the commercial trekking destinations like the Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m) and the Everest Base Camp (5364 m).

Annapurna Base Camp vs Everest Base Camp vs Manaslu Base Camp

Before you book the Manaslu Base Camp Trek in Nepal, we urge you to compare between three iconic base camps in Nepal. Among base camp treks in Nepal, the Annapurna Base Camp Trek and the Everest Base Camp Trek are commercial trips. Fun fact, the Manaslu Circuit Trek or the treks in the region are also slowly becoming the cornerstone of Nepalese trekking industry. If you are an adventurer, then you won’t compare between these three iconic places of Nepal. All have their own unique selling points!

Foothill of the world’s 10th tallest, 8th tallest, and tallest mountains of the world can surely enhance the overall trekking experiences. The choice is always yours! Our travel planners can surely knit the best itinerary in any regions! Let’s not compare between these treks but for rawness, rural vibes, and authentic Himalayan wilderness, choose the Manaslu Base Camp Trek in Nepal.
