Alongside these districts of Nepal, the region also borders with Tibet (autonomous region of People’s Republic of China). Nepal Government has listed the place inside the restricted region.

Road To Manaslu Trail Head: Kathmandu to Machha Khola Honest Guide
The travel planners of the Adventure Hikers Pvt. Ltd. never tell you sugar coated information about any trekking trail of Nepal. Before starting the trek, trekkers must reach the trail head. The usual starting point of the trek is Machha Khola which is the trail head of the Manaslu Circuit Trek in Nepal.
Total road distance from Kathmandu to Machha Khola is about 165 kilometers. 138 kilometers from Kathmandu to Aaarughat road section is easy due to asphalt road. Unfortunately, Aarughat to Machha Khola is dirt road full of big potholes, boulders, and off-road in the cliffside along the banks of Budi Gandaki River. Moreover, it is tiring to travel by local bus. Therefore, it is wise to use the 4WD jeep for transportation. Our Tsum Valley Trek package has services of jeep transport to and from Kathmandu.
Which is the Best Time to Explore Chhum Nubri Gorkha Nepal?
Choose months of spring season (March – May) and months of autumn season (September – November) for better trekking experiences. However, the journey of the Tsum Valley Trek is not like the Manaslu Circuit Trek. The maximum altitude that you stay overnight is below 4000 m.
Therefore, it is possible to do winter season (December – February) trekking in Nepal. Monsoon season (June – August) is not recommended time to do the trek. First thing is that the season is not safe due to heavy rainfall and chances of landslides. Another thing is that the season may not provide best chances of mountain sceneries. Therefore, avoid monsoon season.
